Exploring the Stories, Symbols and Energy Growing Around Us
Plants have always been more than decoration or ingredients.
Across cultures and generations, people have connected plants with protection, love, healing, remembrance, prosperity, intuition and countless other parts of life. Herbs and flowers have been carried, burned, brewed, planted, offered and woven into rituals because of the meanings people believed they held.
Naturally, I want to know the story behind every one of them.
Plant Magick is where I explore botanical folklore, traditional spiritual uses, planetary and elemental correspondences, lunar associations and the ways plants have appeared in rituals throughout history.
I also share ideas for working with plants through altars, gardens, intention setting, seasonal practices, sachets, oils and other personal rituals.
This is not about treating every tradition as interchangeable or taking sacred practices out of their cultural context. It is about learning respectfully, comparing sources and understanding why certain plants became meaningful to the people who worked with them.
Think of this as another section of my open herbal notebook, only this one has a little more moonlight, symbolism and magick growing between the pages.
