The Alchemy of Crystal is more than a blog to me.

It is where I tell my story, organize my thoughts, learn about everything that catches my attention, and give all the different parts of myself somewhere to exist together.

When life feels too loud, I research.

When my thoughts feel tangled, I write.

When I am trying to understand something I have experienced, I start asking questions, opening books, creating pages, and adding another section to one of my binders.

This blog is one of the ways I regulate. It is also helping me unmask after spending most of my life adapting, surviving, and trying to become whoever I thought I needed to be in each moment.

I moved away from Detroit after years of surviving more than I should have ever had to carry.

My story includes childhood trauma, domestic violence, alcohol abuse, unsafe housing conditions, negligent landlords, job loss, discrimination, racism, medical dismissal, custody struggles, and broken systems that often seemed more interested in labeling me than listening to me.

Moving to a new county was my attempt to begin a different chapter, but starting over does not erase everything that came before.

I am still healing from C-PTSD. I am learning what it means to be a late-diagnosed AuDHD woman after a lifetime of masking. I am trying to understand who I am when I am not spending every moment reacting to a crisis, proving my experiences were real, or forcing myself to function in environments that leave my mind, body, and nervous system completely exhausted.

My memories do not always arrive in order, and neither will all my stories. I am going to tell them the best way I can, piece by piece, as I remember them and become ready to share them.

The Alchemy of Crystal gives me a place to do that.

This space holds what I love, who I love, what I have survived, what I am still going through, what I am learning,, and what I am becoming.

It is where my curiosity about animals, nature, spirituality, crystals, ancient history, sound, healing, justice, and all the other things my brain connects can finally exist without being forced into one little box.

Every blog post helps me process something.

Every page helps me organize another part of my mind.

Every question gives me somewhere new to explore.

Every story I share helps me reclaim a piece of my own voice.

I am not building this because I have everything figured out. I am building it while I am still learning, healing, unmasking, and starting over.

Traditional employment has been difficult for my AuDHD brain, C-PTSD, physical health, and nervous system. After losing my job, I had to seriously consider what building a stable future could look like for me.

Working from home gives me the best chance to create an income without constantly sacrificing my health, hiding my needs, or forcing myself back into a lifetime of masking.

I am working toward turning The Alchemy of Crystal into something that can support my family while allowing me to write, research, create digital resources, explore my special interests, and share what I learn with the people who find their way here.

This is not an overnight transformation. It is something I am building slowly, honestly, and one piece at a time.
