About me:
I’m Crystal, a single mom, a spiritualist, and a lifetime learner born and raised in Detroit.
I’ve been through a lot in this life. I’ve survived abuse, poverty, betrayal, depression, and trauma that most people don’t talk about. I’ve had to start over more times than I can count. I’ve been on my knuckles, trying to survive in a system that was never built for people like me, especially here in Detroit.
I’m neurodivergent, with what I now understand are my autistic and ADHD superpowers. I see things others don’t. I feel things deeper. I question everything. And since coming back home to Detroit, I’ve seen too much to stay quiet anymore.
There are scams running in plain sight, from landlords and city offices to shady business owners and the rich folks who profit while pretending to care. I see how the low-income, the disabled, the working moms, and the elders are being targeted and manipulated. And I’m tired. Tired of the silence. Tired of the lies. Tired of the systems that protect greed while we suffer.
But I’m not just tired, I’m awake.
And I’ve decided to speak.
I’m not here to sugarcoat. I’m here to expose what’s really happening in our neighborhoods. I’m here to advocate, to question, to inform, and to heal, not just for me, but for every person who’s been gaslit, dismissed, or stepped over.
I love people. I love animals. I love nature and everything created by God.
I’m not perfect. But I’m real.
And this site, this space, is my truth.

This blog is more than content — it’s my voice.
And I’m using it now. Loudly, clearly, and without apology.
Because being silenced nearly broke me.
And I refuse to stay silent any longer.
