Full Moons have long been associated in spiritual traditions with completion, reflection, release, and bringing things into awareness. I like using that energy as a reason to slow down, get intentional, and actually think about what I’m calling more of into my life.
This Full Moon Manifestation Jar is a simple ritual for focusing your intentions around abundance, financial growth, career opportunities, and whatever prosperity looks like for you personally.
Will putting some herbs in a jar magically deposit money into your bank account? Probably not. But creating a physical reminder of an intention can give you something tangible to focus on while you work toward it.
So gather your ingredients, decide what abundance means to you, and let’s put a little intention behind it.
The jar holds the intention. You still make the moves.
What Is A Manifestation Jar?
A manifestation jar is basically a physical home for an intention. You fill it with herbs, crystals, written intentions, symbols, or other ingredients that hold meaning for whatever you’re trying to call more attention and energy toward.
For this Full Moon prosperity jar, we’re bringing together intention-setting, traditional abundance correspondences, and lunar ritual to create something tangible that represents what abundance means to you.
I don’t think the universe needs a jar to know what you want. The jar is for you. It gives your intention somewhere to live outside of your head and something you can return to as a reminder of what you’re working toward.
Think of it as intention you can actually hold in your hands.
When To Make Your Manifestation Jar
Best Moon Phase: Full Moon
In many modern manifestation and magical practices, the Full Moon represents culmination, abundance, illumination, and bringing something to its fullest expression. That symbolism makes it a popular time for prosperity work, especially when your intention is focused on expanding something already growing in your life.
If you prefer working with lunar cycles differently, the waxing Moon is another option I really like for abundance intentions. The period between the New Moon and Full Moon is traditionally associated with growth, building, attracting, and increasing, which fits beautifully with intentions around money, opportunities, business, and career growth.
Best Day: Thursday
In traditional planetary magic, Thursday is associated with Jupiter, a planet connected astrologically with expansion, prosperity, opportunity, generosity, wisdom, and good fortune. That makes Thursday a popular choice for rituals centered around abundance and growth.
And if you happen to get the magical little combination of a Full or waxing Moon on a Thursday, even better. You can use the overlapping symbolism to make the ritual feel especially intentional.
But don’t postpone something meaningful because the Moon and your calendar refuse to cooperate. Timing can add symbolism to a ritual, but your intention and the actions you take afterward matter more than finding the “perfect” moment.

Note About Jars:
No need to buy a new jar! You can re-purpose an old jar from your kitchen, such as a spice jar, baby food jar, or small mason jar. Just cleanse it with salt water or moonlight to clear any previous energy before use. However, if you prefer a new jar, you can find beautiful ritual jars here.

How to Create The Full Moon Manifestation Jar Ritual
Step-by-Step
Set Your Intention & Prepare Your Space
Start by creating an atmosphere that helps you slow down and focus. You might light incense, use smoke cleansing if that’s part of your practice, play your singing bowl, or simply tidy the area and take a few quiet breaths. Hold your jar and think about what financial abundance or success actually means to you. More income? A new opportunity? Financial stability? Growing your business? Be specific enough that the intention feels like yours.
Write Your Intention On A Bay Leaf
Take a bay leaf and write a word, goal, or short affirmation that represents what you’re working toward. Instead of “Unlimited wealth flows to me effortlessly,” I prefer something that leaves room for your own participation, like:
“I am open to opportunities that support greater financial stability, abundance, and growth.”
Place the bay leaf inside your jar.
Add Your Prosperity Ingredients
Now add ingredients whose traditional symbolism connects with your intention.
- Cinnamon: Traditionally associated in folk and magical practices with prosperity, success, attraction, and energetic momentum.
- Citrine: Commonly associated in modern crystal practices with abundance, confidence, optimism, and success.
As you add each ingredient, take a second to remember why you chose it. We’re not just tossing cinnamon in a jar and hoping it pays the electric bill. The symbolism is what gives the ritual personal meaning.
Seal Your Jar With Intention
Close the jar and hold it between your hands. Picture the outcome you’re working toward: getting the opportunity, reaching the savings goal, growing your business, finding greater stability, or finally seeing progress on something you’ve been building.
Then go a little deeper than simply imagining money appearing. Imagine what changes because of it. How do you feel? What are you able to do? What does having greater stability or opportunity make possible?
Let yourself sit with that for a moment.
Place Your Jar Under The Full Moon
Set your jar somewhere safe overnight, such as your altar or a windowsill. In lunar spiritual traditions, the Full Moon is often associated with culmination, illumination, and abundance, so placing the jar beneath it becomes the final symbolic step of the ritual.
The next morning, bring your jar back inside and place it somewhere meaningful.
And then comes the part manifestation rituals sometimes forget to mention:
Do something.
Send the application. Work on the business. Make the budget. Finish the project. Ask about the opportunity. Take whatever small step moves you toward the intention you just put so much energy into.
Let the ritual remind you what you’re calling in, and let your actions help you meet it halfway.

What to Do With Your Manifestation Jar
Keep Your Intention Somewhere You Can See It
Once you’ve made your manifestation jar, don’t hide it away somewhere and completely forget it exists. Keep it on your altar, desk, workspace, or somewhere you naturally see it so it can serve as a little reminder of the intention you set and, more importantly, what you’re working toward.
Whenever you notice it, take a second to reconnect with that intention. You can repeat your affirmation, acknowledge any progress you’ve made, or ask yourself, “What can I actually do today to move a little closer to this?”
If it’s part of your practice, you can also anoint the outside of your jar with a ritual oil, refresh its contents when needed, or place it under a future Full Moon as a symbolic way of revisiting and renewing your intention.
And when the intention no longer fits? Change it.
The jar isn’t a contract. You’re allowed to grow, change your mind, and decide you want something different.
A Little Intention, A Little Moonlight, And Then We Do The Work
This Full Moon Manifestation Jar isn’t about putting a few ingredients in a jar and waiting for money to magically fall out of the sky. Although, listen, if cinnamon ever figures out how to pay bills, I will absolutely update this post.
For me, rituals like this are about slowing down long enough to get clear about what I want, putting intention behind it, and creating a physical reminder of what I’m working toward. The Full Moon, planetary correspondences, herbs, crystals, and other symbolic tools simply give us different ways to make that intention feel meaningful and personal.
Make your jar. Set your intention. Put it somewhere you’ll see it.
Then keep showing up for what you asked for.
